Samsung has sent a new version of software to the Galaxy J7, a mobile launched in 2015
In its day, the family of smartphones Galaxy J from Samsung was one of the best sellers of the entire company catalog, and therefore, one of the most important for the firm along with the Galaxy A series.
That said series has disappeared, does not mean that Samsung has completely forgotten it. In fact, even today, the company still offers support for some specific models.
On this occasion, Samsung has decided send a new software update addressed to one of the latest models of the Galaxy J family. It is the Galaxy J7a phone launched in 2015, which seven years later, is updated again.

As indicated in XDAthe Galaxy J7 has started receiving an update in various regions of Asia.
The update arrives with firmware J700FXXU4BVG2 or J700HXXU3BVG2, depending on the model, it is aimed at improve the operation of the GPS system.
Other than that, there don’t seem to be any other major changes in this version. The device software is still based on Android 6 Marshmallow with the April 2018 security patch.
It is likely that there are not many people in the world using this legendary device, but those who still do, will undoubtedly appreciate the improvements introduced by the update. At the moment, the new version is only available in specific regions of Asia, but it is expected that it will reach the entire world in the coming weeks.
