Nokia will plant 20 trees for every Nokia X30 sold
The IFA 2022 in Berlin has not yet officially opened its doors, but it is already leaving us with the first launches of some of the main brands attending the fair. nokia was the last to present its proposal, led by the Nokia X30 5G.
It’s about a smartphone aimed at the mid-rangewhich stands out for following a path of sustainability that encompasses aspects such as construction using recycled materialsor upgrade support extended to a minimum of three years.

Aluminum body and recycled plastic
The Nokia X30 has a sober design, of which the combination of 100% recycled aluminum and 65% recycled plastic. According to the brand, it is the smartphone with the smallest ecological footprint to date.
Its front is occupied by a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolutionwith a refresh rate of 90 hertz and a hole centered in the upper part, which serves to house the 16 megapixel front camera. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus glass.
On the back, made of plastic, we find a dual-camera system backed by Nokia’s PureView system. It is a dual camera with 50 megapixel main sensor equipped with optical stabilization, with f/1.8 aperture and a size of 1/1.57 inches. The secondary camera uses a 13 megapixel sensor and is associated with an ultra wide angle lens.
Nokia has included the system CaptureFusion in the Nokia X30, which improves shots taken with the ultra wide-angle camera. In addition, Dark Vision and Night Selfie functions are included to improve the quality of night shots. The camera is protected by Corning Gorilla DX+ glass, which protects the lens from scratches while allowing 98% of light to reach the lens.
The smartphone has the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 with integrated 5G modem, and is associated with 6 or 8 GB of RAM depending on the configuration chosen. In that sense, the 6 GB model comes with 128 GB of storage, and the 8 GB with 256 GB of storage.
All this is supported by a 4200mAh capacity battery with support for fast charging of 33 W. However, the charger is not included, and it will be necessary to use one compatible with USB PD 3.0 technology to take advantage of its speed.
android 12 is the version of the operating system that runs inside this smartphone, and Nokia ensures that it will remain updated to the latest version for a minimum of three years.
Nokia X30 price and where to buy
Nokia already announces the X30 5G in its official website, but it is not possible to buy it yet. Their price is 579 euros for the 8 GB RAM model with 256 GB storage in blue.
