Google Keep’s new feature is perfect for multitaskers

Do you use Google Keep as a note app? Then surely you are interested in the new function that has just arrived in the application

Users of Google Keep today have one more reason to continue using the Google app as app to save and organize your notes and to-do lists. With the latest app update, Keep has received a useful function which makes it easy to share images from notes to other apps, as well as insert images into the notes themselves.

This function takes advantage of one of the most interesting but less valued capabilities of Android: the possibility of drag items between apps.

Google Keep on an Android mobile

Google Keep is one of the most used note apps on Android.

Drag images from Keep notes to share them with other apps

First of all, keep in mind that Google Keep has received the option to share images when dragging them from version of the app. To make sure you have the latest version installed, just go to google play and check for updates.

How to know the version of an application installed on Android

With the latest version already installed, the next step is to open Google Keep together with another application in “split screen” mode. This way, when you open a Keep note that contains an image, it will be possible to drag it to the other app to share it. This function is useful, for example, if you want copy an image of a note into the body of an email via Gmail.

Likewise, it is also possible drag images from other apps into a Keep note. It is worth mentioning, though, that not all apps include support for the drag function. For example, it is not possible to drag an image from Keep into a Telegram message, or an image from Gmail into a Keep note.

Be that as it may, with the arrival of android 13 and its focus on large devices and multitasking, hopefully more and more apps will be updated to support this feature. For now, it’s time to make do with what’s there.
